Domaine des Lauriers
This delightful family-run estate was founded in 1969 and specialise in Viognier and Picpoul. The 45 hectare site was painstakingly selected to gain the very best from the red soils of the region. This was a gradual process, but one that was of vital importance to ensure a sense of terroir is found in these wines. The picpoul is grown on a vineyard that has tiny pebbles lining its slopes; perfect for storing and then releasing solar energy, ensuring that the grapes reach ideal maturity.
Terre de Roqueloupie, Picpoul de Pinet, AOP Languedoc
Region / Producer
Bone-dry, floral and wonderfully refreshing, this Picpoul de Pinet comes from stunning garrigue-scented vineyards in the Coteaux du Languedoc. With a lovely blend of citrus, acacia, apple and grapefruit on the palate, as well as the typical biting acidity makes this a perfect drink for warm weather or to pair with seafood. It is everything you'd ever want from a wine being poured out of the characteristic tall, slim green Picpoul bottle.
