Located in St Julien Chédon on the left hand bank of Cher the young and talented Jean-François Merieau is making fabulous wines from his large 50 hectare property. Converting to organic farming Jean-François is one of the rare producers in this unfashionable area who is working and picking manually to achieve lower yields and higher concentration. The wines are well defined, showing great typicity but with a modern twist and super drinkability, not to mention some very attractive labels.

Juicy and fresh with an abundance of red fruits. Bright acidity and subtle structured tannins. Silky mouth-feel and a nice medium/long fruit driven finish. Will keep for a year of two but is drinking perfectly now.
