These are great Vin de Pays wines that are not the product of a subsidy-taking cooperative but rather a fully fledged estate in its own right. Modern and New World influenced they are very much where the modern palate is at. Surely something the rest of Southern France, as it distils its unwanted wines at a loss, should look to emulate. We take our hats off to Domaine des Terres Rousses and are proud to support a winery that bucks the trend.
