We have been selling Bouquet des Garrigues for some time now. Both the white and red are very reliable wines and we often promote them as a starting point to the Genesis portfolio. This white has a wonderful citrus nose, a blend of orange peel, perfume of white flowers and a touch of spice. The taste is fresh and crisp with some good fruit. Not to acidic on the palate the finish is tangy and long. A great wine on it’s own or get creative with some food and wine matching.

This red offers amazing value for money. It is dark, juicy and concentrated. The nose has plenty of ripe black fruits with a hint of smokiness. On the palate the dark fruits are powering with a good balance between tannin and acidity. Paired with some pizza, wild bore sausage, rich cheese and red meats it makes a fabulous combination.

Here is another big red to enjoy for the winter. Very dark in colour the nose is concentrated with cherries and dark fruits. The palate is medium bodied with undertones of liquorice, cooked cherries and a touch of oak. With a little air this wine improves with time. Enjoy it now or cellar for another year, we recommend both.

Julien Zernott and Delphine Rousseau have a beautiful 25 acre terraced plot in South-west of Montpelleir in a place called Poujols. Growing vines on limestone soils their wine express a wonderful minerality to them. The Les Clapas (made from Grenache, old Cinsault and Syrah) has wonderful fruit aroma’s. This wine highlights the accent vines of Languedoc with fleshy tones, subtle fruit notes and silky tannins. This is lovely drop that goes beautifully with stews and traditional southern French cuisine. Have a taste for yourself.
