Tasting Notes
Packed with colour (intense violet and bluish tones) the Somni is a concentrated full-bodied red. A bouquet of wild plums and blackberries some cassis and freshness keeps you wanting more. There is a touch of oak and spice lingering in the background too. The palate is velvety and the oak is well integrated with fruit. The tannins a silky and mature. The finish is long the fruit comes through first with the tannins and oak coming after. A tasty drop. Genesis Wines, September 2010
