Our team are in France selecting the very best the vintage has to offer as we speak and from what I am hearing back from them, there are definitely some treats to be found.

Following last year’s fantastic, over-subscribed event we are thrilled to announce that Priorat superstar, Alfredo Arribas has agreed to fly over to host another intimate wine dinner showcasing the best of his critically acclaimed Portal del Priorat vineyards for some of our most valued customers.

The event will be held at Lima London, 31 Rathbone Place London and will start from 6:30 pm. Lima London is one of the hottest new restaurants in London, with glowing reviews coming in left and right for their superb blend of modern gastronomic techniques and traditional Peruvian ingredients. This will truly be an event not to be missed!

On the night Alfredo will be showing through his range of both reds and whites accompanied by a three course dinner (including cheese) selected and prepared by the fantastic team at Lima.

Tickets are £95.00 per person all inclusive, and places will be extremely limited (with space for only 24 guests in the downstairs dining room) so early booking is very much advised.

Payment for the event is due upon reservation. Any cancellations made within 2 weeks of the event will not be refundable.

We were genuinely excited that Californian winemaking legend Greg Brewer (Brewer Clifton / Melville Vineyards) recently visited the UK. As part of his visit Greg agreed to host a very special tutored wine dinner exclusively for Genesis Clients.

The tutored wine dinner was hosted at The Commander in Notting Hill, showcasing the wines of both Melville Vineyards and Brewer-Clifton wineries of Santa Barbara County, USA.

Greg has been at the fore-front of the Californian wine industry for some time now (with Wines & Spirits Magazine donning him one of the “Winemakers to watch in the 21^st Century”). He predominantly produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (with a touch of Syrah and Viognier for you Rhône lovers), focussing on a more terroir driven, Burgundian approach to winemaking, a far cry from the over extracted, Cabernet dominant growers of Napa and Sonoma.

The dinner was a great success, with all in attendance leaving with a beaming smile and a greater understanding of Gregs unique approach to winemaking.
