Tasting Notes
A beautiful dark violet colour suggest this will be rich and generous and it is! There is this fabulous cassis that comes through on the nose with a touch of graphite. Hints of toasty oak come through. This Syrah has ripened well this season with soft acidity complementing the round tannins that envelope the mouth. The fruit is very forward on the palate and full bodied. This has great ageing potential however drinks well now. Genesis Wines, September 2010
