The marriage of Jack Confuron to Bernadette Côtetidot  gave the estate its present name, Yves Confuron is a real character with a mischievous sense of humour and is not afraid to speak his mind – a kind of French Yorkshireman! His wines are very much in the ageworthy camp as he produces reds with firm structure that can appear a little impenetrable when young. After some time in the cellar though they transform into wines with tremendous power and very pure fruit. He also makes the wines at Domaine de Courcel, Pommard.
