Poesia
Poesia

Poesia is a boutique scale venture operated by Hélène Garcin-Lévêque and her husband, Patrice Lévêque. Situated in Argentina’s prime wine growing area in Mendoza, Hélène and Patrice have nurtured an old vineyard site back to life to produce some amazing and very well priced wines. Poesia, or “poetry” in Spanish was originally planted with Malbec in 1935, and today is managed organically by Marcelo Casazza. While many joint ventures and wineries are blending two or more regions to produce a vintage, Garcin is looking for something different in Poesia "We want to have an original Argentinean wine, and not a copy of a blend that is already done in another country," she says. No stranger to wine, Hélène has been brought up in the industry. Her mother owns Bordeaux châteaux including Clos L'Église in Pomerol and Barde-Haut in St.-Emilion.
