Gouguenheim is based in Tupungato valley, 70km away from the city Mendoza, at the foothills of the Andes. The unique terroir and exceptional landscape that surrounds the vineyard helps to define the great character in each bottle. With 320 desert climate days per year the vineyard is irrigated from water gravitating from the Andes. The soils are sandy and the temperature difference can be up to 35˚C between day and night. This Malbec is rich in colour with wonderful aromas of plum, black cherries, currants, chocolate and a touch of violet. Round and supple on the finish this is a great wine with or without food and not too high in alcohol.
