Burgundy Tasting:
The Burgundy tasting held at the beautiful Chandos House (Royal Society of Medicine) was very well attended. Beginning at 3 in the afternoon, many guests joined us earlier in the day, with one or two admitting to booking the day off work especially. There was good attendance from wine journalists including Natasha Hughes (Natashahughes.com) and Richard Hemming from JancisRobinson.com. As the evening drew near, the stylish Robert Adams room was bustling with attendance and surprisingly the various Grand Cru wines were still in supply. The wines showed extremely well and our new producers Domaine Albert Bichot, Domaine Jessiaume and Pierre Andre were thoroughly enjoyed. With a vintage like 2010 many guests did not hesitate to place their orders for this exquisite (and extremely limited) vintage.
