Burgundy Tasting
The Burgundy tasting held at the beautiful Chandos House (Royal Society of Medicine) was very well attended. Beginning at 3 in the afternoon, many guests joined us earlier in the day through to the evening. There was good attendance from wine journalists Julia Harding and Richard Hemming from JancisRobinson.com whom have since scored and published tasting notes on many of the wines, and Margaret Rand who was delighted with the quality of the wines, a consultant for decanter. As the evening drew near, the stylish Robert Adams room was bustling with attendance and surprisingly the various Grand Cru wines were still in supply. The wines showed extremely well and our new producers Domaine Albert Bichot and Pierre Andre were thoroughly enjoyed. Whilst many of the wines and allocations were secured shortly after the offer was released, we have since had additional amounts provided to us by our growers.
