Simon Coulshaw, an Englishman raised in France, has had a long time passion for wine, a welcomed inheritance from his father. In his younger years he worked various harvests across Europe before pursuing a career in IT. After graduating with a Viticulture and Oenology degree he kicked off in search of a vineyard.100 sites later he settled for a property in Faugères. It was a match made in heaven, the union of the Syrah grape and North facing dark Schist slopes. The Rousanne and Viognier wines show terrific freshness, wonderful aromas and acidity. The reds are full-flavoured and express the unique terroir of his land.

Wonderful notes of white flowers on the nose with some herbaceous tones too. Very fresh on the palate with delicate floral flavours and a fabulous streak of minerality. The balance of acidity and fruit is right on the money refreshing and lasting with excellent mouth feel.
