From one of the finest stables in Pomerol, Château Clinet we are thrilled to be ale to offer the amazing Ronan by Clinet – “the most extraordinary value red wine under the sun”.
The vineyards for the Ronan are located just outside the Pomerol appellation, hence its AC Bordeaux status (although you wont find many Bordeaux Superieurs like this). The Ronan has been made to the same exacting standards as Clinet’s Grand Vin, and let’s not forget Parker scored that 97-100* in 2009!
"Ronan Laborde is the thirty-year-old managing director of the Pomerol superstar Château Clinet...Made from 100% Merlot and treated with every bit as much care and respect as the Grand Vin...The quality of wine inside the bottle is bafflingly serious, particularly bearing in mind its price tag. Remember that 2009 was a stellar vintage in Bordeaux, with en primeur prices going completely bananas. For this reason and many others this wine is unmissable...
