Jurancon Babylone
Didier Dagueneau produced his first sweet wine in 2002. In the foot hills of the Pyreness south of Pau he identified an area he thought would be ideal for this venture. He found a few hectares located in a natural amphitheatre facing a panorama of mountains. At the time the vines were in good condition and it only took a few vintages for Dagueneau and the Petit Manseng to adapt.
The Jurancon wines are rich in apricot, peach, caramel and citrus fruits. These wines have amazing viscosity and are well supported with vibrant acidity. They will age tremendously well and develop into absolutely stunning wines.

Blanc Fumé de Pouilly
Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar gave the 2007 Blanc Fumé de Pouilly 90 points. Here is what he had to say “Pale straw. Pure aromas of lime, lemon, white flowers, brown spices and minerals. Suave and fine-grained if youthfully inexpressive, showing precise citrus and orchard fruit flavours and impressive inner-mouth energy. This tactile, youthfully taut wine finishes with impressive structure and mineral grip." (March/April 10). Although this is Dagueneau’s entry level wine it is not to be underestimated, packed with chalky and flinty minerals the wine becomes more expressive as it breathes with melon and citrus aromas really dominating. The wine is lean to begin with then becomes mesmeric with each taste.

Pouliiy Fumé Silex
The Silex is Dagueneau's 'Grand Cru' in the high slopes of Saint Andelain. The soils are rich in Silex and the vines on these plots range from 15 to 50 years of age. Dagueneu’s notorious methods of viticulture ensure that the highest possible quality of fruit is brought to the cellar. The juice is barrel fermented and aged in 450, 600 liter and cigar barrels. The age of the barrels ensures that the wines are not over oaked and instead highlight the minerality, perfume and purity of the grape and landscape.
